Regional Sales / Business Development Director

Our focus is on making Asia easier for customer deployments in high-growth emerging markets. That is why we are looking for passionate and customer-oriented team players who can help expand the Edge of the Internet in the region.

Responsibilities:

Leading the Team
• Lead regional sales (platform) team to achieve company / country sales, revenue and margin objectives
• Promote DE platform, through value proposition and solution-based selling
• Drive coordinated sales approach with extended sales team across region
• Provide regional sales alignment, coaching and training to sales team
• Drive team to think globally; actively coordinate to close multi-site opportunities
• Lead hiring decisions, quarterly staff reviews, performance evaluations
• Provide vertical segment expertise

Territory Planning
• Develop /execute comprehensive territory growth plan
• Hold team accountable to account plans for key prospects and customers

Forecasting & Pipeline Management
• Provide accurate forecasts on regular cadence to senior leadership
• Maintain operational discipline of regional sales (platform) and matrixed country sales team to meet forecast

Build Customer Relationships
• Plan, build, and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts
• Elevate executive level positioning and ensure account teams are adequately and appropriately positioned to expand opportunity potential and business retention

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years relevant sales experience preferred in prior sales leadership roles
• Experience working in a global / regional matrix organizations
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, strong leadership and communication skills
• Strategic planning and creative thinking skills
• Good command of English
