Samuel Lee has more than 25 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industry and is widely recognized as a data center transformation and growth leader, with a proven track record of building and running data center companies throughout Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Digital Edge, Samuel served as the President of Equinix Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for the P&L, business strategy, and acquisition activity for the region. Under his leadership, Samuel grew the company to be the market leader in all of its operating countries, growing annual revenues from US$40 million to more than US$1 billion.

He is a native of Hong Kong and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from the City University of Hong Kong.

John Freeman has more than 25 years of experience handling a wide array of cross-border legal and commercial issues for major multinational companies.

Prior to joining Digital Edge, John was Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at Tata Communications where he managed the company’s legal, regulatory and compliance functions globally. John has extensive experience in both domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, as well as local and regional joint ventures, amalgamations and corporate reorganizations. He has led and served as co-counsel on a variety of transactions, successfully closing more than 20 mergers and acquisitions during his career ranging in value of up to US$14 billion.

A native of the USA, John earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science, and his Juris Doctorate (JD), from the University of Minnesota.

Jay Park is a seasoned leader with more than three decades of experience in the high-tech industries, with the past 20 spent in the design, construction, and operation of data centers.

Prior to joining Digital Edge, Jay was Vice President of Data Center Infrastructure at Facebook, where he spearheaded the design of the company’s first owned data center and built numerous state-of-the-art data centers globally. He has obtained six patents related to data center design, with his innovative concepts proven to deliver the most energy efficient and cost-effective data centers in the world.

A US native, Jay studied electrical engineering at California Polytechnic State University and has a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.

Charmaine Cheng has two decades of experience advising senior leaders across Asia Pacific on their people and talent management. As a strategic business partner she utilizes data driven insights to deliver commercial goals, drawing on her expertise in psychology and behavioral and cognitive assessments to create effective performance management, employee engagement and change management strategies.

Prior to joining Digital Edge, Charmaine was Director, People Business Partner for Refinitiv, a financial data platform owned by the London Stock Exchange Group, where she oversaw the talent strategy for 350 staff across 6 markets and led complex transformation and integration projects. She also previously worked at international law firm Simmons & Simmons.

A native of Australia, Charmaine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Macquarie University, Sydney, and a Master of Human Resource Management & Organizational Development from Southern Cross University, New South Wales.

Yaniv Ghitis is a renowned investment specialist in Asia Pacific with considerable experience in originating, structuring, negotiating and executing M&A and capital markets transactions across the region, including in Greater China, Southeast Asia, India, Korea, Japan and Australia.

Prior to joining Digital Edge, Yaniv worked at J.P. Morgan for 17 years in their Hong Kong, New York, London and Tel Aviv offices. Most recently he served as Managing Director and Co-Head of J.P. Morgan Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking in Asia Pacific, where he advised and raised capital for some of the most impactful technology and digital infrastructure companies in the region.

A native of Israel, Yaniv holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Economics and a Masters of Arts in Economics, both from Tel Aviv University.

Andy Rigoli has considerable international business experience having worked across the United States, Europe, Brazil, and Asia Pacific, with particular expertise in M&A, real estate and capital markets specific to the data center industry. Prior to joining Digital Edge, Andy worked at Equinix Asia Pacific for nearly two decades, serving in numerous senior leadership roles including Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Vice-President of Corporate Development, and Country Manager for Southeast Asia. He also previously worked at Salomon Smith Barney in New York and Palo Alto in their Technology M&A investment banking division.

A native of the USA, Andy obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Studies from The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with several semesters at Bologna University, Italy and an MBA from Anderson School at UCLA.

Jonathan Chou has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and Internet industry, with significant expertise across data center sales, marketing, and product development. A recognized pioneer in the region, he was part of the original team that rolled out public Internet access to China and also built the largest Internet Exchange in Asia.

Prior to joining Digital Edge, Jonathan worked at Equinix Asia Pacific where he developed sales & marketing strategies as well as new products which resulted in the company becoming one of the most profitable and network dense data center operators in the region. He also led the team that founded the Asia Peering Forum, a highly successful industry event.

A native of China, Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Classics from Columbia University.

Jonathan Walbridge has more than 20 years of finance and infrastructure investing experience at institutions across Asia Pacific, Europe, the United States and Latin America.

Prior to joining Digital Edge, Jonathan worked for 14 years at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA), the world’s largest infrastructure manager. During his time, he worked on acquisitions and served on main boards across more than 45 companies within the group’s portfolios. He was most recently a Managing Director with MIRA in Hong Kong.

He is a native of New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University of Wellington.

Liane Cresswell has extensive experience advising B2B brands on their corporate reputation management and a proven track record in delivering integrated communications strategies across multiple markets in Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Digital Edge she held senior communication roles at international law firm Latham & Watkins LLP and health insurance disruptor Now Health International, where she built and led the corporate communications function. She also previously worked as a political consultant in the UK where she advised leading multinational and FTSE 100 companies on their public affairs strategies.

Liane is a native of the UK and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Durham.
