[Singapore, August 17, 2026] – Digital Edge today announced the appointment of Paul Macpherson as Chief Data Center Operations Officer, expanding its operations leadership team as the company continues to scale its AI-ready digital infrastructure platform across Asia-Pacific and support growing demand from hyperscale, cloud, AI and enterprise customers. This appointment reinforces Digital Edge’s commitment to maintaining the high standards of reliability, safety and operational performance that customers depend on across the region.
Based in Singapore, Paul will lead the data center operations across Digital Edge’s growing platform and will report directly to John Freeman, Group CEO of Digital Edge.
Paul brings more than 25 years of experience leading mission-critical data center operations across Asia-Pacific, North America and Europe. He joins Digital Edge from Vantage Data Centers, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations for North America. Prior to Vantage, he spent nine years at Amazon Web Services (AWS), leading infrastructure operations across Asia-Pacific, including data center operations, engineering operations, network scaling and logistics.
